Samburu, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, & Maasai Mara Mountain Lodge Safari - 10 Days

Day 1. Nairobi/Mt. Lodge

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through Kikuyu countryside to Mountain Lodge, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon and evening game viewing. Throughout the day and mainly evenings and nights, many of the wild animals frequent the waterhole. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2. Samburu

Depart Mountain Lodge after breakfast and drive north across the Equator to Samburu National Reserve, arriving at Samburu Serena Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3 & 4. Samburu

Two full days in Samburu, a beautiful and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, grevy's zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Elephant and lion are also plentiful, and leopards are oftern seen. Optional activites include visiting a local Samburu village and camel rides. Meals and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge.

Day 5. Lake Nakuru

After breakfast drive down to the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park, making a stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls. Arrive at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6. Naivasha

Another morning game drive after breakfast, before departing for Lake Naivasha Country Club, arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha and a walking safari at Crescent Island, one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amongst wild animals. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Country Club.

Day 7. Maasai Mara

Depart after breakfast and drive along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara, arriving at Sarova Mara Tented Camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive as you get a taste of this vast game filled reserve. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 8 & 9. Maasai Mara

Two full days in Maasai Mara, Kenya's most popular game sanctuary. Morning and afternoon game drives with optional visit to a local Maasai village. Meals and overnight at the luxury Tented Camp.

Day 10. Nairobi

Depart Maasai Mara after breakfast, driving back to Nairobi to arrive at approx 1300hrs. Drop at your hotel or transfer to the airport for onward flight home.
